PUPPIES!!!
Look for upcoming litter announcements in the spring of 2008.
Planned breedings for the future are as follows:
Thistle Ridge Valentine x Thistle Ridge Shiner (repeat of 2007 breeding) - I was very pleased with this cross so I will be repeating it if the puppies continue to mature as they have so far
Sow's Ear Sparkle x Leewinds Buddy (owned by Jan Rodgers of Southland Terriers) - I have been seriously considering whether I would breed Sparkle again, but I met Buddy and he is so much like Sparkle's mother, Snippet, that I suddenly knew which direction I would go. She's not getting any younger so I plan for this to happen in 2008.
Thistle Ridge Liza x Duncan Jones - Dash has been very hard to breed and Liza is my last hope in preserving as much of the Jones' line that I can through Duncan. My hope, if it works, will be to keep a female and breed it back to Jeeves as a finale.
Thistle Ridge Sunny x Jeeves Jones (repeat of 2007 breeding) - Loved this cross. Even though the initial breeding was an accident, my gut tells me the cross will be well worth repeating.

Congratulations to Tammy & Jason McCullough of Poolville, Texas on getting Thistle Ridge Dash (puppy below). She named him and then realized that his aunt is also Dash! I think it fits him like a glove :)
Congratulations to Chris Cervantez and Paul Shaner of Austin. The little boy below is now "Jake" and will get to live very close to his brother!
Congratulations to Joey King! The little cutie below is going to call Austin home. Seems appropriate since that is where Thistle Ridge began! Joey is calling him "Miles."

Pit Bull? What's a Pit Bull? We'll show you Pit Bull, big boy! You just gonna stand there or what?? We'll take him down, you get the rear and I'll go for the throat! (No Pit Bulls were injured during the shooting of these photos, and Saint got a big bone for being such a trooper!! He comes by his name honestly!!) When I say I socialize my puppies, I'm not kidding!

I'm dedicated to making sure the puppy you get from me will be the absolute best match for your family so please keep this in mind before you get set on gender, coat type, or markings. Sometimes the cutest puppy is the hardest to deal with! Please remember that terriers can have same gender issues, and that often the males are easier than the females in this breed. Jack Russells are special dogs, if you haven't owned one before please do all the research you can. And please call or e-mail with any questions. Don't forget about russell rescue also. There are many great adult dogs that need homes, and while puppies are adorable, there is a lot that goes along with a "toddler." Sometimes an older dog is more suitable for certain situations.
